Minimal liquid retention. Ultra Low Retention (ULR) tips assure even less liquid retention. ULR tips reduce the tip retention by nearly 85 % and decreases the standard deviation of the retained volume by more than 75%.

Universal grip design, using flexible materials with a series of bands and supports producing a positive seal.
Orange Scientific tips have thin walls and a small surface area at the tip orifice, greatly minimising the possibility of the tip retaining sample droplets. In addition, the small surface area reduces the touch-off angle between the outer tip wall and the receiving sample tube. This reduced touch-off angle virtually eliminates the potential of capillary retention between the tip orifice and tube wall. Each of our tips is moulded to give a flash-free and uniform delivery orifice for consistent accuracy and reproducible sample delivery.
All tips are provided with calibration lines at specific volumes, acting as visual checks to minimise any risk of errors during sample aspiration.
Made of high quality, low adhesion, polypropylene.
Production complies with EN ISO standard 8655 and DIN 12650, controlled according to DIN 12600.
Autoclavable at 121°C for 15 minutes.
All tips are certified DNase and RNase free. Sterile tips are subjected to LAL testing to ensure they are non pyrogenic.
Available in bulk or in refillable racks. The racks feature a hinged lid that opens at 120° for easy micropipettor access, and are autoclavable.
